Summer is just around the corner and no doubt you and your customers are beginning to think about your holidays. Nearer the time it will seem like there are 101 things to organise - including Avon! So get ahead now and put your plans in place to protect your earnings in the summer selling period. So, if you are planning a holiday this summer, ensure that your customers can still order these great offers which mean that you will continue to make money with your Avon business. To help you, we have put together some hints and tips. • Important date Please check your order and delivery dates online or on the invoice and record this information on your Summer Planner. This is really important as customers like regular contact and prior notice of any changes to your normal Avon routine. • No need to miss a campaign As you can order brochures three campaigns in advance, why not order your summer brochures early? This will enable you to sell two campaigns together if necessary. Don’t forget you will need to order your sales aids and stationery items before you go. This will ensure that you have everything you need for when you come back. • Away on delivery day? If you are going to be away when your order is due to be delivered, then you can have it re-directed to a friend or neighbour close by; complete the temporary address section when ordering online.
Investing in additional brochures over summer means i can leave my brochures with my customers for a little longer while i still enjoy the summer holidays.
The more books you buy the cheaper the packs become.
Remember that you can not only order from the current brochure, but also from the previous one. So always try to get the best deal for yourself when ordering. Sometimes you can `marry up` different customers` orders – e.g. if two customers both order only one item from a buy 2 get 1 free offer then you can claim the 3rd item for yourself to keep or resell. The same applies to the offer ‘spend over £15 and get a free bag…’ you may find you have three customers ordering £5 each, which then entitles you to order the bag. Also a customer may order something from the current brochure, eg an aftershave, for £8, but it may be £4 in the previous book. If you order it in at the cheaper cost this will go towards the cost of your brochures Don`t forget you are a business not a charity! By constantly checking prices and ordering at the cheapest possible cost, you may be able to cover the cost of your brochures…

SSS yes we shout about this all over summer because it works and basically sells itself . I've sold 75 bottles in the last 2 campaigns.
Advertise your Avon every where you go let everyone know your an Avon Representative always have an Avon brochure where ever you go. On day trips there is always mummies pull out your brochure and hey presto!
Cant get out? Have an online party or sale
Make sure you have a spare brochure in your handbag / car / in the buggy - get the book out when you're having lunch on your daytrip / soft play date / family bbq & show it to your friends - the nice weather and happy atmosphere tends to make people order-happy
Keep sharing your online store or pictures on social media. Its an easy way to get the word out if you are stuck in the house with kiddies
Do you want more Direct Delivery Orders? Then get a rating - Have you got a star rating for your online store? ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ it will mean you go to the top of the find a rep search results. Check where you are in the search by going to www.avon.uk.com and scroll to the bottom of the page.....type in your postcode and press search. Getting a rating is easy....get a customer or family member who is registered as a customer and has placed an order with you in your online store to log into your store and click the top right link that says 'hello......' then select my representative and leave a⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ rating....
Arrange to meet friends for a coffee i.e soft play, take some books and chat about the extra cash your earning in school holidays by dropping a few books on your streets.
Keep in touch with your everyday customers and give samples of new perfume or skin care range, this will ensure you have enough orders to place over the holidays.
Remember you can put your order in as an 'express' so it arrives quicker - ideal if you don't want to miss a campaign if you are on holiday...it costs £5 (£4.50 for PC) but you would still make commission on the other items
I'll keep saying it - keep a copy of the current e-brochures & your store link saved into your phone so that you can easily share them - for when you physically can't get a book to someone but would be able to deliver
Let your children help you! My customers love to see my children out and about with me when delivering. ( my children love helping too!) This business really can be built around your family. My children speak fluent Avon!
Having your children's friends over for a visit? Give them an old Avon book to cut up and stick the pics on some paper... Let them take it home. It will be a talking point. You may get new customer's!
